USDT/USD P2P liquidity by order size: what survives from $100 to $5,000?
The cheapest visible quote is useful only if it can actually absorb the intended trade. This live study holds asset, fiat and BUY side constant and changes only order size to show how merchant limits and available inventory reshape the executable USD book.
How much of the $100 book still works at $5,000?
3 of 13 offers that define the current $100 eligible pool remain represented in the $5,000 eligible count — a nominal survival ratio of 23.1%. This is a point-in-time depth signal, not a guarantee that the same merchants remain available later.
Order size changes the ranking universe before it changes the ranking
A correct scanner should first remove offers that cannot handle the requested amount. Only then should it sort the remaining offers by price. Otherwise a $100 quote can incorrectly appear to be the “best” option for a $5,000 buyer.
| Order | Eligible offers | Best price | Best merchant | Best-offer limits | Payment methods |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $100 | 13 | 0.996 USD | HeratimiVIP_crip | $50 – $1,506 | BancoPichincha |
| $500 | 14 | 0.995 USD | User-368c8f3m | $101 – $661 | ABA |
| $1,000 | 13 | 0.996 USD | Finanzas-BV593 | $50 – $2,008 | BancoPichincha |
| $5,000 | 3 | 0.997 USD | spark_ltd | $502 – $10,030 | ABA, ACLEDA, KHQR |
Small-order winners can disappear
A merchant can lead the book at $100 and become irrelevant at $1,000 or $5,000 because its maximum fiat limit is lower than the requested amount.
Inventory can be tighter than the fiat maximum
Where available USDT is exposed, inventory adds a second execution constraint. A published maximum does not always mean the advertiser has enough crypto remaining for that order at this moment.
Median price can be more informative than one extreme quote
The best quote describes the top edge of the book. The median eligible price helps show whether that quote is representative or unusually aggressive relative to the rest of the executable set.
USD should be studied as its own market
USD payment rails and merchant pools differ from EUR. Lumpascan therefore treats USD liquidity as a separate market study rather than assuming EUR conclusions transfer unchanged.
1. Asset, fiat and side are fixed at USDT / USD / BUY.
2. Lumpascan requests the official-public Binance P2P feed and normalizes price, merchant, min/max fiat, available asset and payment methods.
3. Each order size is filtered independently. An offer is eligible only when the amount fits its fiat range and does not exceed known available inventory.
4. Best Rate is calculated only after filtering. No manual, mock or affiliate-weighted quote is inserted when the live eligible set is empty.
