What does not change
Partnership status should not turn a worse market quote into Best Rate. Price ranking and commercial disclosure are separate concepts.
What users should see
Partner relationships, sponsored placements and recommendation logic should be labeled clearly enough for users to understand why something is displayed.
Ranking policy
Calculated from the eligible offer set after user filters. For BUY, the lower eligible price ranks better; for SELL, the higher eligible price ranks better.
A contextual recommendation layer. As the product matures, it is intended to consider merchant quality, liquidity, limits and payment compatibility in addition to price.
