Best P2P rate vs best deal: what does stronger execution context actually cost?

The cheapest executable quote is objective. “Best deal” is not. So instead of hiding a recommendation score, Lumpascan measures a narrower question: among offers within 1% of the mathematical Best Rate, how much price do you give up if you choose the merchant with the strongest visible completion history?

Interpretation

Price and execution history answer different questions

Best Rate tells you which eligible merchant is cheapest now. Completion rate and trade count describe past execution context. They do not guarantee a future order. This study therefore does not replace the cheapest quote with a “better” merchant; it quantifies the trade-off so the user can decide whether the extra price is meaningful.

A tiny premium can be economically small

At the current snapshot, the stronger-history candidate is 0.915% above Best Rate. On a €1,000 order that changes the received USDT by about 10.38 USDT. Whether that difference is worth paying is a user decision, not something Lumpascan should hide inside a black-box label.

The 1% band prevents absurd comparisons

Without a price band, the highest-completion merchant could be far more expensive and therefore irrelevant to a rate comparison. Restricting context analysis to quotes near Best Rate keeps the trade-off economically bounded and inspectable.

Trade count is a tiebreaker, not a guarantee

The research rule prioritizes completion rate and then trade count inside the price band. It intentionally does not claim that a merchant with more historical trades will complete the next transaction.

Commercial status is excluded

Affiliate relationships, sponsorship and partner applications do not participate in either Best Rate or this research context rule. The input set is determined by live eligibility only.

Research rule

1. Fetch LIVE Binance USDT/EUR BUY offers and keep only those executable for €1,000.

2. Mathematical Best Rate = lowest eligible price.

3. Context band = all eligible offers priced no more than 1.00% above Best Rate.

4. Within that band, rank visible merchant history by completion rate; use trade count as a secondary signal.

5. Report the exact price premium and USDT difference. Do not relabel the contextual candidate as mathematical Best Rate.
